Dr. Jesús Sánchez
For Dr. Jesús Sánchez, dentistry has been a part of his entire life. Growing up in Puerto Rico, he visited his parents’ dental practice daily and the field always intrigued him. As he grew older, Dr. Sánchez realized the importance of his parents’ work and helping people in their community, which is what fuels his passion for dentistry today. Dr. Sánchez remembers, “As I was growing up, I understood that in the field of dentistry I would be able to do something I enjoy and also give back. That mentality of helping people is what drives me to work and do the best that I can.” Dr. Sánchez is thrilled to be a part of Morrison Dental Group and is excited to meet new patients. He is an “eternal student,” constantly looking to learn more about new technologies in the dental field and how he can better serve his patients.
Dr. Sánchez attended the University of Puerto Rico of Dental Medicine and completed two residencies, one being a General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA, and the second at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, with a focus on Oral Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Lehigh Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Sánchez is a proud Eagle Scout and is looking forward to sharing his love for the outdoors with his children. Dr. Sánchez enjoys spending time with this family, traveling, reading, doing water sports, and being a part of the community. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Susana, a former dancer and wedding coordinator who now dedicates her days to being a stay-at-home mom to their sons, Lorenzo and Javier. The family lives in Williamsburg with their dog, Emma, whom they adopted from the Humane Society on the couple’s first anniversary.
Dr. Edy Fülöp
Dr. Edy Fülöp grew up in the dental field, and he frequently calls it his “family heritage.” Dr. Fülöp’s grandfather was a dentist, and his grandmother and both parents are dental technicians. He spent his childhood in the dental lab and visiting the offices they serviced, so dentistry feels like home for Dr. Fülöp. From an early age, he understood that dentistry is both an art and a science, which is something that drew him to the field.
Dr. Fülöp immigrated to the United States from Romania (Transylvania) with his parents at an early age and grew up in the Bay Area of California. He spoke English while in school but Hungarian at home (even his dog understood Hungarian!). Dr. Fülöp learned of an English-speaking dental program offered at the University of Debrecen in Hungary, and he jumped at the opportunity to study what he loves as well as embrace and learn about his cultural heritage. After his time in Hungary, Dr. Fülöp earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). He has also completed a 3-year residency through the University of Debrecen. Additionally, Dr. Fülöp has completed a second DMD with the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Fülöp is married to Kara, whom he met while volunteering with GoodSports International in Hungary. Kara was abroad to teach English and to work with underprivileged children. She was in need of a Hungarian translator during her visits to orphanages, and as Dr. Fülöp says, “The rest is history.” The couple looks forward to becoming a part of the Williamsburg community and plan to become involved with a local church.
Dr. Albert Creal
Dr. Albert Creal was born and raised in Newport News, VA. He attended the US Naval Academy for his undergraduate degree and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then went on to complete a residency at the Naval Academy in Bethesda, MD. In 1987, Dr. Creal retired from the military to start his own private dental practice. After 30 years on his own, he merged his practice with Morrison Dental Group. Dr. Creal is a member of the ADA, VDA, and Peninsula Dental Society.
Dr. Creal was first drawn to dentistry because of his love for helping others. He had an interest in medicine and dentistry, and he was a close friend with a Navy dentist, who helped pique his interest. He loves the variety that a dentist brings. Dr. Creal is married to Janet, a homemaker, and they have two children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Dr. Creal is a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and the Bremond Masonic Lodge #241. He describes himself as interested in his fellow man and community.
